Last week I highlighted some popular attractions in the Baltimore area, and how easy it is to visit them from the airport/ cruise port hotel of your choice.  Today we explore Boston!  As you may already know Trinity Reservations offers park stay and fly, and park stay and cruise packages at airport/cruise port hotels across the United States.  Extending your vacation by a day and booking a reservation could allow you to see all that Boston has to offer!
In the Boston area Trinity Reservations offers packages at the Embassy Suites located right at the airport, and the Holiday Inn Express Saugus MA.  Both these hotels run free shuttle daily to and from the Boston Logan airport!  Both hotels offer breakfast in the morning!  The Embassy Suites is closer to the airport, and is an all suite property- this means that if you are a family of 5 everyone can stay in one room. 10 days of free parking is included in our packages. The Holiday Inn Express is a bit further from the airport itself, but with this extra few minute drive you save on cost and up to 14 days of free parking is included in the package!
Like Baltimore, Boston has a lot to offer!  Boston too is located right on the water and along with that has its own aquarium, the New England Aquarium (now I already mentioned that Baltimore's was my personal favorite, but that shouldn't deter you from seeing this one!).  But what might be the most well known attraction is the Freedom Trail!  There are both guided tours or you can walk the trail on your own which is a great budget option.  The Freedom Trail takes you all over the city, and is a great learning experience as well!  If you want to splurge on an excursion you can go whale watching, just be aware that as hot as it may be on land… it gets cold out on the boat!  Fanueil Hall Marketplace offers loads of shopping and wonderful food!  If you like seafood I was told about this great unassuming place called the "No Name".  It's a no thrills place but the food is outstanding!  And of course the baseball fans will want to see Fenway Park, where the Boston Red Sox play.
It is easy to get to Boston's attractions from both these hotels!  Boston's subway, or the T, has a blue line that goes right to the harbor where all those attractions are located (except Fenway Park which is further out).  This line has a stop right at the airport, and from there it is only 2 stops from the aquarium!  Easily take either hotel's shuttle to the airport and hop on the Blue Line.  The cost for riding the T is $2.25 per person one way, $4.50 round trip.  Or you can get a day pass, $12.00 per person, where you can ride the T all day long, take the Local Bus, and Inner Harbor Ferry as many times as you would like during the course of the day.  Of course a taxi type service can always be used as well, but its less adventurous and possibly more expensive.
Have fun exploring all that Boston has to offer while staying at either the Holiday Inn Express or Embassy Suites!
