Holiday Season Travel Tips from Trinity Reservations

Holiday Season Travel Tips from Trinity Reservations

Trinity Reservations business is helping those traveling; people traveling for business, people traveling for fun, to visit friends and family, or to just get away and relax.  This time of year many people will be traveling because of the holidays.  Here are three tips we have picked up along the way and would like to share with you!

The first might seem like a no-brainer coming from Trinity Reservations… but if you are flying to your destination this holiday season consider booking a park, stay, and fly reservation!  This type of package checks off a few stress factors that come into play when flying.  The first is: Getting my family up and out the door early enough to make it to the airport is stressful!  How do I make this process less stressful?  Your park, stay, and fly package will include the cost of a one night stay at an airport hotel.  With Trinity Reservation you can have one to four people per room and the cost doesn't change!  The location of the hotels we offer are close to the airport of your departure so the stress of getting the family together and to the airport is gone.  The second box this package will check off is: where will I park my car while I am away? And how much is that going to cost me?  Long term parking at an airport can get pricey depending on how long you will be away, and with a park, stay and fly package with Trinity Reservation the parking will be included in the package!  The third box is getting to and from the airport.  How will I get to and from the airport for my trip?  Easy!  The hotel will provide shuttle both to and from the airport for you, and its included in your park stay and fly package!  All of this is included in one price which, I know for me, takes a lot of stress out of the planning!

The second tip, and this one I give full credit to my mother, is to always pack a change of clothes in your carry-on bag along with any important medication.  It doesn't happen often, but believe me it is a real thing, sometimes checked bags don't make it on the flight with you.  If this happens when you land and learn that your checked bag is not there you will be glad to have at least one change of clothes with you and the important medication!  In the best case scenario the bags land with the next incoming flight from your original airport to the destination.  In the worst case scenario your bags are waiting at the airport you departed from when you arrive home or they are never found.  During your trip having two outfits will cut down on the outfits you have to buy and your stress about wearing clean clothes!

The third tip I would like to share is to not get hangry.  Hangry?  Yes I really said it, hangry is a combination of hungry and angry.  It comes in many forms sometimes as hungry and grumpy, sometimes as hungry and tired.  Pack snacks!  Whether you are flying or road tripping it this season, snacks are a must.  By avoiding the hangry feeling for yourself and the rest of the family there is a chance of less sibling arguments, less of a chance of tension between the family members making the journey more enjoyable!  Have the family help pick and pack the snacks so that there is something for everyone.
