Easily Explore: Los Angeles

    When I think of Los Angeles I think of many attractions!  I think of Universal Studios, Disneyland and, Hollywood Blvd., Sunset Blvd., the Hollywood sign, in addition to museums and sporting stadiums.  In other cities such as Chicago, Boston, or Baltimore these types of attractions are concentrated in one central area "downtown"… but that's not the case for the Los Angeles attractions.
    If you are not from the area, or are not familiar with the Los Angeles area this is very important to be aware of when planning to explore!

    There are attractions in each of these three cities that we generically assign to Los Angeles.  Los Angeles is sandwiched between two other well known cities: Hollywood about 6 miles to the North and Anaheim about 26 miles to the South.  Now Los Angeles is not known for its public transportation like other cities are, but they do have one and it is growing in popularity!  Visit: www.metro.net to plan your way around town.  They have trains that will go from the airport (green line), to downtown (blue line), to Hollywood CA (red line), and by taking a few different stops you can even get to Disneyland using public transportation.  Or… you can rent a car for the weekend and zip around.
    Why do I need to go to all three of these cities?  Hollywood holds the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Universal Studios, and the Hollywood Sign!  Los Angeles itself has Sunset Blvd, Beverly Hills, museums, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.  Don't forget to make time for Anaheim!  Anaheim is the home to magical Disneyland!
