To book a full service hotel or limited service hotel. This is the question!

Well this is the question for today at least. Let's first discuss what the differences are between these two types of hotels. A limited service hotel in most cases does not have a full service restaurant or bar. They almost always include a hot expanded continental breakfast in their room rates. This type of breakfast would often include a selection of cold cereals, muffins, danish, and fresh fruit. They also often include one or two hot items such as scrambled eggs and french toast or bacon. You can always find hot coffee, tea, hot chocolate and frequently a selection of juice. By most peoples standard this is an ample breakfast compared to what they eat at home. This is a major value added plus for booking a limited service hotel. You can bet a similar breakfast at a full service hotel would cost you $15 per person with tax and gratuity. This adds up for families traveling together!  The rest of the hotel product is basically the same. The rooms have the same decore and most have small refrigerators in the room. These hotels often have pools both indoor and outdoor. So far not much of a down side to this kind of hotel. The down side is having to travel to eat lunch & dinner or to have a drink at a bar.
