Just got off the Venezia after 23 days … What an excellent cruise
Many people were wondering about parking and hotel for the night before. We used TrinityReservations.com and highly recommend them.
We had used them in May 2022 in Baltimore for park and cruise, and when we changed our trip from 2 weeks to 3 weeks the hotel would not let us park for a third week. We called Trinity and they said “no problem we will get you a new hotel” They changed our hotel and the cost difference was minimal.
This time we were flying to New York and were looking for hotel with transportation to and from the cruise and the airport. We researched all different ideas and decided to go with Trinityreservations.com again. I cannot recommend them high enough. We had private car service. Maria, our driver to the port, tried to contact us the night before and when she could not reach us sent us a text message an hour before our pickup in the morning. We called back and said we were ready anytime and she was there within a half hour. It was an excellent ride from the hotel (near Newark airport) to the cruise port She also advised us to request that the return driver pick us up on upper level as we are both in our eighties and I use a walker. After the cruise, our return pickup was scheduled for 9:00 am. Again, our driver sent us a text in the morning with a description of his vehicle and mentioned a pick up point on the lower level. I did not see the message until I was in a wheel chair to leave the ship I told the lady pushing my wheel chair and she said not to take the lower level … it would be too difficult, and that I should tell the driver to go to the upper level. When I phoned him, after we had our luggage, and told him we were at the upper level and we would be ready anytime He was there within 10 minutes. He was also an excellent driver and we had an enjoyable trip to airport. We are returning to Venezia with family in January and we will definitely be using trinityreservations.com again.
