Trinity Park stay and fly & Park & Cruise Staff Celebrate at BOL

March 15th was cold and lightly snowing. Not surprising considering the winter we have all been dealing with. We had 18 adults and 3 children come to the soup kitchen that day. We made Chicken with pasta in a creamy garlic sauce with salad and garlic bread. Everyone was in good spirits especially one of our regulars who is truly homeless or should I say was homeless! He had good news to share. The Baptist church a few towns away agreed to provide him a place to sleep each night. He had been living out of his car. He has a great heart and has been a faithful helper to this church with their food pantry program by helping to stock the shelves when donations came in.  This may not seem like a big victory but for this kind and gentle soul it was life changing.  The family with children take a local shuttle bus to get to the church where we serve our meal. They were happy to have a hot meal in a warm place. We see them on a semi regular basis. This program is one of two we participate in each month and would not be possible if it were not for all of you, our loyal and faithful customers. Thank you so very much for helping us to pay it forward!
