Seattle Cruise Port

The Seattle cruise port has two downtown cruise terminals and is the preferred choice for Alaska or Pacific Northwest cruises. The cruise port will host over 188 cruise ships and nearly 852,000 passengers in 2013. With the best of both urban and outdoor experience Seattle is the perfect point of departure for your next cruise. Many of the city's top attractions are just blocks away from the waterfront including the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, historic Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market and the Seattle Aquarium. And if you like the outdoors then you can explore three national parks - Mt. Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic - all of which are just a two-hour drive from the city center.

The Seattle Cruise Port leads all US cruise homeports on the West Coast in terms of passenger volume and ship calls. The Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 is homeport to Norwegian Star, Norwegian Pearl and Oceania Regatta. The Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91 is homeport to Carnival Miracle, Celebrity Solstice, Golden Princess, Holland Amsterdam, Holland Oosterdam, Holland Westerdam, Rhapsody of the Seas and Star Princess.

Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66

The Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal features a 11 acre complex along Seattle’s downtown waterfront. This cruise terminal is home to Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises, which offer weekly sailings to Alaska. Pier 66 is just walking distance from Pike Place Market and Seattle Aquarium. The iconic Space Needle is also nearby.

The terminal provides onboard airline check-in and luggage handling. Guests can check in for their airline flight, print boarding passes and check their luggage; all while still on board their ship. The cruise terminal concierge offers luggage storage before and after cruises.

The cruise terminal has a 1,700 space secured parking garage located directly across the street. Restaurants, deli/mini-mart with ATM and recreational marina are available on-site.

Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91

The cruise terminal at Pier 91 is located at the north end of Seattle's waterfront, just 10 minutes from the city's retail core and famous Space Needle. Smith Cove cruise terminal is home to Carnival, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean International.

The terminal provides onboard airline check-in and luggage handling.

Cruise terminal concierge offers luggage storage before and after cruises. The cruise terminal has a 1,000 secure parking spaces available with cell phone waiting lot for convenient passenger pickup. The parking area can accommodate oversized vehicles and RVs also. Passengers departing from the Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 can obtain a complimentary taxi voucher for service back to Pier 66.

Directions to Bell Street at Pier 66

If you are arriving from I5 South take the West Mercer St./Fairview Ave. exit, EXIT 167. Turn right onto Fairview Ave and take the first left onto Valley Street. Stay left, Valley Street will merge into Broad Street. Continue on Broad Street to the waterfront; turn left onto Alaskan Way. Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal is at Pier 66, just south of Edgewater Hotel. You can use the Bell Street Pier Garage directly across the street from the Edgewater Hotel, by turning left onto Wall Street.

If you are arriving from I5 North then after the exit for Interstate-90 East, take the next exit on the right, Exit 164A; Dearborn, James, Madison Street. Take the Madison Street/ Convention Place exit and you will be on 7th. Turn left immediately onto Madison and stay on Madison until you come to the waterfront. Turn right onto Alaskan Way. Follow Alaskan Way North for about a mile, before Edgewater Hotel. You can use the Bell Street Pier Garage directly across the street from the Edgewater Hotel by turning right onto Wall Street.

If you are arriving from I90 West take the I-5 North Everett/Vancouver B.C. exit, Exit 2C, on the right. Then immediately take the second exit, the Madison Street / Convention Place exit. You will now be on 7th. Turn left immediately onto Madison and stay on Madison until you come to the waterfront. Turn right onto Alaskan Way. Follow Alaskan Way North for about a mile, before Edgewater Hotel. You can get to the Bell Street Pier Garage directly across the street from the Edgewater Hotel by turning right onto Wall Street.

Directions to Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91

If you are travelling on I5 South head south on I-5 and follow the signs to the Mercer Street Exit. Take Mercer Street Exit and follow Mercer Street to Broad Street, turn Left. Follow Broad Street to Elliott Avenue, turn right. Follow Elliott Avenue and signs to Magnolia Bridge. Then turn right at 14th Ave West (signal light intersection) and stay to the right and follow ramp joining the Magnolia Bridge (West Garfield Street) (0.35 miles). Exit right. Follow signs to 'Smith Cove Park' (0.55 miles) and Cruise Terminal. Turn right at bottom of ramp and follow signs for cruise terminal parking.

If you are travelling on I5 North then head north on I-5 and follow signs to the Mercer Street Exit. Take Mercer Street Exit. Follow Mercer Street to Broad Street, turn left. If you are travelling on I90 West take I-90 West to I-5 North. Head north on I-5 and follow signs to the Mercer Street Exit and take Mercer Street Exit. Follow Mercer Street to Broad Street, turn left. Follow Broad Street to Elliott Avenue, turn right. Follow Elliott Avenue and signs to Magnolia Bridge. Turn right at 14th Ave West (signal light intersection). Turn right to Denny Way (0.32 miles). Stay to the right and follow ramp joining the Magnolia Bridge (West Garfield Street) (0.35 miles). Turn right at bottom of ramp and follow signs for cruise terminal parking.
